I think this may have been my first published comic book cover (this is a detail shot -- the entire cover was a wrap-around, with more characters on the back, and had room for the titles and such). It was for Issue One of the Elementals, published by Comico in 1983. In hindsight, it was pretty deplorable, but I suppose I didn't think so at the time.

I'm not certain, but...

I was in a game store in, I believe, 1983 or 1984, buying the Villians and Vigilantes rpg. As I was paying, the owner pulled out a copy of this comic and said, "you might be interested in this comic book, too, since the guy who does it also wrote modules for this game involving the characters in this new comic." I was 13 or 14 yeards old at the time, and thought that I had outgrown comic books. I bought it anyway, mostly because I felt pressured.
This first issue of "Elementals" re-ignited my interest in the medium, which continues to this day. I loved this series (though much less so the issues with which you were not involved). Thanks very much.
